China and Brunei are close neighbors across the sea, mutually trustworthy friends, and partners of common development. Since the establishment of diplomatic tie in 1991,bilateral relations have enjoyed good momentum in development, setting an example of harmonious coexistence, mutually beneficial and win-win interactions between countries of different sizes. In recent years, with the care and strategic guidance of the two heads of state, the China-Brunei Strategic Cooperative Partnership has enriched the connotations and harvested fruitful cooperation outcomes, which brings benefits to the two countries and two peoples. Last year the two heads of state met in Bangkok, Thailand  and reached important consensus to build a closer bilateral tie, pointing the direction for further development of China-Brunei relations.

The Embassy will, guided by the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, further enhance the friendly exchanges and practical cooperations between the two countries and peoples, and push for a greater development of the China-Brunei Strategic Cooperative Partnership.

We will build well the Embassy website, to make it a window for everyone to understand the Chinese-Brunei relations as well as the China’s diplomacy, and dedicate wholeheartedly to serving every visitor .
