With the continuous increasing exchanges and cooperation between China and Brunei Darussalam, the Government of the People’s Republic of China will provide scholarships to Bruneian students for the 2025/2026 academic year. From today, eligible applicants could visit “CSC Study in China” website and click “Scholarship Application for Students” at http://www.campuschina.org. For more information, please find the Appendix below for more details 《Chinese Government Scholarship Application》and《Instructions for Chinese Government Scholarship Information System (CGSIS) 》. The deadline of applications is expected on January 24th, 2025. Overdue applications will not be accepted.

Please note that all applications must be completed online, the Embassy of China in Brunei will not accept any paper application. Please send the online application Serial Number to the Embassy by email chinaembassyedu@gmail.com. Receiving an email replied from the Embassy means the application succeeds. Applicants need to contact the interested universities by their own to get the Pre-Admission Documents or invitation letter from the schools or professors before January 24th, 2025.

In around June of 2025, China Scholarship Council will confirm the admittance and send Admission Letters to the Chinese Embassy. Scholarship winners will be noticed to collect the admission letters and the visa application forms at the Embassy.
