On 18 June, H. E. Ambassador-designate Xiao Jianguo attended the Conferring Ceremony of Academic Excellence Awards to Children of Council Members of Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Bandar Seri Begawan. Ambassador Xiao met with President Lim Tiong Han and Executive President Lee Chung Keng of the Chamber and had friendly talks with the advisors, council members, and the youngsters, encouraging the Chamber members to better contribute to China-Brunei friendship and pragmatic cooperation and the youngsters to study hard and undertake to promote inter-civilisational friendly exchanges.
