On 3rd February, H. E. Ambassador Xiao Jianguo visited the Overseas Chinese of Kuala Belait and distributed the Spring Festival kits in the coming Chinese New Year.
Ambassador Xiao sent best wishes and warm regards of Spring Festival to all the overseas Chinese in Brunei, spoke highly of the contributions of the overseas Chinese in inheriting traditional Chinese culture and promoting China-Brunei relations, and expected the overseas Chinese to play a more important role in the friendship and cooperation of the two countries.
Ambassador Xiao also attended the Lion Dance Eye-opening Ceremony of Chung Lian School of Brunei and encouraged the school to overcome difficulties to promote Chinese education and culture and better serve local social and economic construction.
