On 3rd March, H. E. Ambassador Xiao Jianguo was invited to attend the Fuzhou Shiyyi Association Lunar New Year Cum Student Academic Excellence Awards Presentation 2024 and had friendly exchanges with President Dr. Andy Lau Sie Chuong, Founding President Jackson Ting, Executive President Jeffrey Yong Teck Chin as well as members of the Association. Ambassador Xiao sent warm regards of Spring Festival to all attendees, emphasized that respecting the elderly and loving the young are traditional Chinese virtues, spoke highly of the contributions of the Association in promoting Chinese culture and virtues as well as deepening the economic cooperation and people-to-people exchanges between China and Brunei, and expected the Association to contribute more to the development of bilateral relations.
