On 5th March, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Brunei held the Chinese Book Donation Ceremony & Chinese Calligraphy Lecture with the Jerudong International School. H. E. Ambassador Xiao Jianguo, Nicholas Sheehan, Principal of Jerudong International School(JIS), Mr. Li Feng, President of Chinese Enterprise Association, Mr. Wang Haitao, Counsellor of the Embassy in Brunei, together with the teachers and students of JIS totally around 60 people attended. Ambassador Xiao handed over 162 copies of Chinese books to Principal Sheehan and both agreed to strengthen future cooperation on to promote cross-cultural exchanges and people-to-people inter-connectivity between China and Brunei. After the donation ceremony, the present teachers and students of JIS listened to the lecture themed on the Chinese calligraphy by the representative of young diplomats of the Embassy, and experienced hands-on calligraphy writing in person on site.
