On 2^nd April, H. E. Ambassador met with Yang Mulia Dayang Hajah Nor Ashikin binti Haji Johari, Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of Brunei.

Ambassador Xiao appreciated Permanent Secretary Nor Ashikin’s attendance to the opening ceremony of ASEAN-China Year of People-to-People Exchanges in China as well as Spring Festival Open House held by Chinese Embassy, and expressed readiness to deepen people-to-people exchanges and cooperation with Brunei and ASEAN. Permanent Secretary Nor Ashikin spoke highly of the contributions of China in promoting bilateral as well as ASEAN-China people-to-people exchanges, and expected to explore more cooperation to enhance the friendship between the peoples.
